Venezuela is under attack by right-wing forces once again, and now faces its greatest threat under the Trump regime. The media is presenting this as an organic revolution from below, when it is nothing but. While the US-funded fascists burn union leaders and people of color alive, the poorest of the nation are rallying behind President Maduro and the proposed Constituent Assembly, which will take Venezuela further down the path towards socialism.

Which side are you on?

In support of Venezuela, the International Action Center and Workers World Party will be hosting a screening of “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised”, a documentary about the first attempted coup by the US in Venezuela in 2002. The film was made by Powers Pictures, an Irish production company that happened to be in Venezuela when the coup broke out. The film-makers quickly realized that what they were seeing on the ground contradicted everything said in the imperialist media—no wonder the US has done everything it can to suppress the film!

Please join us this Saturday for a screening and discussion of this timely film. It is our hope that the discussion will focus on ways for us to defend the Bolivarian revolution here in the United States.

US HANDS OFF VENEZUELA!
