"Life's most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others" Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Conference The Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba has 500 fully paid scholarships available to youth in the United States. This great opportunity enables youth to study medicine without having to pay the astronomical tuition that medical schools cost in the U.S. This one day conference will provide an opportunity for prospective applicants, community leaders, medical professionals, teachers and counselors to learn about this wonderful offer. This one day conference will include information on the application process, the curriculum, history of the Latin American School of Medicine, and Cuban health care as an alternative for addressing the worsening US health care crisis. Information will also be given on how individuals can further promote the program and assist in internship, externship and observership opportunities for students.
