The International Working Women’s Day Coalition’s 12th annual cultural rally and march to commemorate IWD will be held Saturday, March 11,  2017,  starting  at 12:00 noon, at Herald Square (34th Street).

Following the rally and march, there will be an intergenerational & multiracial luncheon/round table discussion.

“Women Rise &  Organize” will start at 2 pm at Auditorium (135 W. 23rd St. bet 6th and 7th avenues).  Child care will be provided.

Women organizers will discuss their fight for workers’ rights, immigrant rights, Black Lives Matter, child care, housing, health care, reproductive rights, a clean environment, quality public education, against war and occupation and violence and abuse of LGBTQ people, seniors and those with disabilities.  Every issue is a woman’s issue!
