March 4th for Standing Rock
& March 4 Education

March 4th is a powerful day for movement and action, to drive unaccountable governments, both federal, state, and local, to listen to the people. Education activists and activists for Indigenous peoples’ rights, stand in solidarity with each other to demand justice.

Thousands of people march to end the attack on public education and the attack of the Standing Rock Sioux’s sacred lands and water. On the 4th, organizers and activist, parents and community, stand together to say: stop the attack on our communities.

As we recognize the various forms of oppression working against marginalized communities, we recognize that our causes go hand in hand. It is time to put an end to the attack against communities of color and the basic necessities that should we hold sacred: water and education. Together, we will resist the attacks on our communities and fight for victory on both ends.
 
An injustice to some is an injustice for all.

will start at 9:30 am at
The Trump International Hotel and Tower,
1 Central Park West and will
march to Governor Cuomo’s office at
633 3rd Ave at 41st St for a
Rally from 11:30 to 12:30 pm.

will start at 1 pm from the
New York Public Library
42nd St and 5th Ave.
At 2 pm they will march to
Trump Tower at 57th St,
5th Ave and beyond.
