Turn the Guns Around: Mutinies, Soldier Revolts and Revolution

From Paris to Russia to Germany to Portugal to Vietnam, soldiers have turned their guns around against their own bosses in support of revolutionary movements by workers and the oppressed.
John Catalinotto will be speaking about his book on these struggles, in particular the work of the American Servicemen’s Union and Workers World Party to organize inside the U.S. Army against the Vietnam War.
The meeting will include a tribute to Black August and the Black revolutionary freedom fighters George and Jonathan Jackson.
