A delegation of antiwar leaders from the U.S. and Canada met with President Nicolás Maduro, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the National Constituent Assembly, the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV), the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and Bolivarian Militia, Popular Colectivos and many other Venezuelan organizations while in Venezuela for more than a week.They learned about the on-the-ground situation in Venezuela, the heroic resistance to U.S. imperialism, and the extraordinary organization of the Venezuelan people in response to U.S. sanctions.
