We are excited to give a full report and links to each of the 4 sessions of the International Assembly Against Imperialism, in Solidarity with Palestinian Resistance. This event was held at the historic Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial & Educational Center in New York City on Jan. 21 – the 100th Anniversary of Russian revolutionary leader Vladimir Lenin’s death.
The unique assembly challenged U.S. imperialist efforts to isolate and demonize the Palestinian resistance and its allies.
Organizers of the program brought together reports by Palestinian Resistance groups, statements from well-known national and international organizations, and messages from workers’ parties from around the world.
Many of the program presenters have decades of authority in the world movement for resisting U.S. imperialist blockades and sanctions. New, young activists gave inspiring and revolutionary comments.
A highlight of the day was the determined messages sent to the Assembly from resistance forces of the regions. This confirmed the diversity of views in the region’s resistance and their unity in action.
